The who and the why.

Hello and welcome to my blog.

The Who?
I manage a small Hedge Fund with my brother. We use complex computer generated hyper-dimensional modeling (very similar to weather forecasting) to assist in all our trading. Now what does this have to do with fishing? Since we rely mostly on the computer systems, if we have anything to do for the day, we are done by 9:30am. This leaves the rest of the day for fishing.

The Why?
I know many people who fish, do not like to share fishing information. I can fully understand this concern when it comes to "Top Secret" information like gps numbers etc. Inshore fishing is much different, when you can only keep one fish (redfish, snook) per person. You are not at risk of having someone come in a clean out an area, like in the old days of no limit fishing. I have fished in centipede bay over the last 15 years and I have never seen this area run out of redfish. When the fish are biting you would be hard pressed not to catch at least one red fish and on a good day you can catch and release fish until arm falls off. It's not uncommon to catch 10 or 20 redfish in a few hours.

Over the past 12 years I have research 1000's of different subjects on the internet from how to grow asparagus, to building a cluster super computer system. In turn this blog is a way I can contribute to the internet community. In the future I hope to incorporate this blog in to a local community web site that I am building. Where my community can share information about everything from fishing conditions , local event and announcements.
